BJJ BARCELONETA

Pedro Duarte brings brazilian jiu-jitsu to the heart of Barcelona.

The oldest student of master Murilo Bustamante started on November to give classes at one of the most traditional clubs in Barcelona, the Atletico Clube Barceloneta. Pedro wants to make the Barceloneta Club in a jiu-jitsu and grappling learning center. “My idea is to turn jiu-jitsu in a well know sport in Barcelona and nothing better than giving classes at Barceloneta to achieve this goal”, says the black belt.

Located at Barcelona coolest beach, Barceloneta, the center will approximate brazilian jiu-jitsu to other traditional sports in Spain. Pedro has already started the project of using the fundaments of grappling to help training some of the Olympic athletes of the Spanish water polo team.
